Durango Art Center Collage Workshop Jan 19-20, 2013

I just completed a two day collage workshop at the Durango Art Center. I had about a dozen participants. It was a very enjoyable weekend with lots of collages being made. Everyone seemed to have had a great time.

Making Outgoing Postcards for "Postage and Handling Included" Exhibition

Friday Nights from about 5:00-7:00PM through the winter local volunteers come over to the museum archives to hang out and make collage postcards to send to mail artists around the world to help create our project Postage and Handling Included. The exhibition will be in May 2013.

 We're starting to get close to a final arrangement for the exhibition. All of these photos taken with a fish-eye wide-angle lens. There are still a few more spaces that are not finnished enough for photos just yet.

Local collagist - Denise Pitchon - came in to help arrange some of the final elements of the exhibition opening this Friday. Denise arranged most of the unframed works into this grid at the entrance of the Museum.
